  We use this pub for Sunday lunch and have done so for many, many years.
  I have to say though that I miss the Sunday Carvery they used to have, a proper carvery, you could eat as much or as little as you liked. The choice of meats was superb, and hand-carved in front of you. Lovely!!
  Nowadays, your meal is plated up for you, with veg separate.

  Food was amazing but service of sian the elderly lady working on bar was terrible!!! She complained about how there was only 3 of them on today, which as a guest you don't want too hear! And there was a young couple who was waiting after me and the way she approach them was awful her attitude was horrible and her mannerism was discussing!!! She said too them I WANT TO SEE YOUR I'D! The young girl and boy provided her with ID and then asked if they wanted a pint glass with there drink and the young girl replied no can I have a half pint please and the server replied sarcastically only of u bring it back!! I felt awful for them! The way she treated your guests is not right and this issue should be delt with!!!! She shouldn't be aloud to talk the way she does too customers you should be made to feel welcome no matter who u are.

  Fantastic food very good value for money great service lovely cosy pub call in for a drink or a light bite. Great menu selection for lunch and evening meals
